The Spreckels Bakery Story
It started with a love for baking and a heart for community.
Kristen Gersonde is the owner and creative force behind Spreckels Bakery, a beloved local home bakery since 2023.
With a passion for crafting high-quality, artisan baked goods, Kristen offers weekly first-come, first-serve online orders available for in-person porch pickup for her community that regularly sells out.
In addition to her commitment to quality and flavor, Kristen is dedicated to supporting local nonprofits. A firm believer in the power of community, she regularly partners with organizations to give back and make a positive impact.
Since opening, Spreckels Bakery has helped raise over $10,000 in donations to local nonprofits including: The Bridge Restoration Ministry, Set Free Monterey Bay, Tatum's Treehouse, and CASA of Monterey County.
